1st practice service

On June 19th, we held our 1st practice Sunday morning service at the Schierman Clubhouse (AKA the Slurp N Burp).  We had 35 adults and 15 kids in attendance and had really good feedback.  Some of the words people used to describe our service was: Raw, Simple, Authentic, and refreshing.  We met from 11am to noon and our service included worship, a testimony, and a message.  From the sound of it, the highlight of the morning was the testimony.  Our own Aaron Tyler shared for 5 minutes about the last year of his life and how God has began to do some amazing things in the past 9 months.  He did a great job communicating how God is responsible for the good things that come from his life because he is a mess.  Aaron told us about how amazing God is in that He doesn't wait till we get our act together before He chooses to use us. He reminded us that God is strongest in our weakness and that walking with a limp doesn't disqualify us from being used.

Our next practice service is July 31st at 10:45am at the Schiermans Clubhouse(AKA the Slurp N Burp).  Please feel free to join us and invite a friend.  We are in the process of acquiring a trailer to haul and store our equipment.  We are also collecting money to purchase sound and video equipment so we do not have to rent every time.  If you would like to contribute to that, please make your check out to "Intersect Church" and mark it "for A/V".

Thanks to all of you who helped make our service happen by praying for us, helping us physically, or supporting us financially!  We know that God is using a lot of people from all over the world to see this church come together.  Please do not stop bringing us before the Lord, we need more prayer, more people hungry for God and His Word, and we need more of His presence and His transforming power in our lives.  We will do our best to keep you up to date as God continues to work here in the Palouse!
